Luda M
Owner, Master Barber
Luda - provides a superb grooming experience in the midtown area for over 20 years.
"It all started with my father Boris, who has been shaving and cutting hair in the ancient city of Samarkand, Uzbekistan for many years, where he owned an old-school barber shop. While sweeping the floors as a little girl at his shop, I admired his talent. Watching him work made me want to become just like him. At 14, I approached my dad and told him I knew what I want to do as a career. When he asked me what it was, I said ‘I want to do what you do: make people look and feel happy.’ So I began working with hair at my dad's shop under his guidance and supervision.
In December of 1992, we moved to New York. I worked as a stylist from 1994 to 2001. I've been working in midtown for the last 20 years. I worked at the Art of Shaving with my father again for 12 years. After they shut down their location in June of 2015, I moved to work at New York Shaving Company's midtown location. From May 2021 to May 2022 I worked at Adam Grooming Atelier.
And now my dream of opening our shop with my father in the greatest city in the world came true. We opened The Midtown Shave Barber & Spa to deliver excellence to our clients.
Boris M
Master Barber
Boris - has been mastering his skill for over 50 years now. First, he was a great success in his hometown Samarkand, Uzbekistan for over 25 years.
Shortly after moving to New York, Boris was the first Master Barber hired by The Art of Shaving. After getting a shave from Boris during his job interview, the founder of the Art of Shaving said “that’s someone I was looking for to represent our barbers.”
During his 19 years there, Boris was featured in a range of TV and magazine publications sharing his mastery. A great number of celebrities lined up to get a shave by Boris. Some of them became his regulars. The next step of his career was at the downtown location of The New York Shaving Company for over 5 years. And now he is a star of The Midtown Shave Barber & Spa.

GABRIEL D
Master Barber
The Midtown Shave is excited to welcome Gabriel Davidov to our team.
Gabriel is a well-known and very experienced barber with over 20 years delivering an excellent service to the affluent residents of Manhattan as well as guests of the Capital of the World. Alongside Luda and Boris, Gabriel also worked at The Art of Shaving before moving on to advancing his career at some of the high-class Barber Spas around NYC. Among others, his clients list includes movie stars, politicians and even members of the Royal Families.
Gabriel is a well-known and very experienced barber with over 20 years delivering an excellent service to the affluent residents of Manhattan as well as guests of the Capital of the World. Alongside Luda and Boris, Gabriel also worked at The Art of Shaving before moving on to advancing his career at some of the high-class Barber Spas around NYC.
